Terms of use
The rules that apply to use of the service and SentinelleTrader subscriptions.
Last updated: July 23, 2026Key points
SentinelleTrader enforces the risk limits configured by the user. It does not provide financial advice, open positions or guarantee trading results.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to the website and the SentinelleTrader service. Creating an account or subscribing to a plan constitutes acceptance of the terms in effect on that date.
The service is available only to people legally able to enter into a contract. Users warrant that the information they provide is accurate and must keep their email address up to date.
2. Service description
SentinelleTrader lets users define risk limits for one or more MT4/MT5 accounts depending on their plan: maximum drawdown, stop-loss count, trading hours and reset periods.
When configured limits are reached, the service may lock trading in accordance with the available settings. Its operation also depends on the connection, platform, broker, prop firm and third-party services.
3. Account and security
Users are responsible for keeping their SentinelleTrader access and trading credentials confidential. They must provide accurate information, promptly report unauthorized access and must not attempt to bypass protections or disrupt the service.
SentinelleTrader may suspend access in the event of fraud, a security breach, unlawful use, non-payment or a serious breach of these terms.
4. Plans, trial and payment
Current plan features and prices are displayed on the Pricing page before purchase. Depending on the selected plan, subscriptions are monthly or annual and renew automatically until canceled.
When a 7-day free trial is offered, no payment is taken before it ends. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription becomes paid at the price shown during sign-up.
Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, access may be restricted or suspended after any retry period announced in the customer area.
5. Cancellation and right of withdrawal
Users may cancel their subscription from the billing portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal; access remains available until the stated end date, except for cancellation during a trial or a security measure.
Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day period from entering into the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal by emailing support@sentinelletrader.com with their name, account email address and an unambiguous withdrawal statement.
If users request immediate performance of the service before this period ends, the amount corresponding to the portion already supplied may remain payable as provided by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
6. Risks and limitations of liability
Trading is risky and may result in a partial or total loss of capital. Information on the website is not investment advice, a personalized recommendation or a promise of performance.
Users choose their own limits and remain responsible for their decisions. SentinelleTrader is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect settings, connection loss, MT4/MT5 malfunction, a broker or prop firm, extreme volatility, slippage or an external event beyond reasonable control.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct or infringement of mandatory consumer rights.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Maintenance, updates or interruptions may be necessary. Features may change to improve security, comply with the law or adapt the service, without unfairly reducing acquired rights.
8. Intellectual property
Users receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of their access. Unauthorized extraction, copying, reverse engineering, resale or provision to third parties is prohibited to the extent permitted by law.
9. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Complaints must first be sent to support@sentinelletrader.com.
If a dispute remains unresolved, consumers may use the consumer mediator free of charge. Its contact details will be published once SentinelleTrader’s registration and membership of a mediation scheme are finalized.
